Non-Profit Art Festival of the Summer

HUNTINGTON, NEW YORK – AUGUST 6, 2023 – THE SPIRIT OF HUNTINGTON ART CENTER a leading charitable organization committed to empowering artists of all abilities and ages and supporting community initiatives, was delighted to announce its much-anticipated community art festival, “The Spirit of Summer Art Festival.” This exciting celebration of creativity and philanthropy took place on August 6th 2023 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at 2 Melville Road N., Huntington Station, NY 11746.

The Spirit of Summer Art Festival was a remarkable gathering, where art enthusiasts, local businesses, and community patrons came together to foster creativity and made a meaningful impact on society. Through this event, the center raised funds to support inclusion and diversity in the arts, which focuses on empowering artists, providing educational resources, and supporting community programs.

Over 75 local vendors across various mediums, showcased their talents and entrepreneurship throughout the day. The fair featured handmade Jewelry, Books, Pet Accessories, Crochet Plushies, Natural Candles, Paintings, Pottery, Handmade Soaps, Stickers, Posters, Tumblers, Crystals, Apparel, Home Decor, Photography, Wreaths, Toys, & More!

There were activities and games for all ages, consisting of Fairy Face Painting, Pop-A-Shot Basketball by the Long Island Nets and BSE Global, Princess Meet & Greet, Interactive Spin Art, Barbie Photobooth, Live Music, Raffles, and Balloon Animals!

Some of Long Island’s best food trucks came to support the event. The Butchers Daughter, and Fat Boys BBQ served up tasty food and treats. There was also delectable treats from local food vendors, offering organic Honey, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, A Bake Sale, Pickles on a Stick, Ice Cream Truck, and Italian Ices.
