Yarn Club

with Shakira and Sydney

Crocheting and knitting are fun to do together! The Yarn Club is a place to learn about and practice different ways to create with yarn. Throughout the session we will provide instruction on knitting, crocheting and other types of crafts, like lanyards and bracelets. Although there will be instruction every week, this is a club and therefore will be an opportunity for participants to learn from, share ideas with and socialize with one another! Come make new friends, while creating great take-home projects.  No experience necessary.

Sydney Claussell, M.A and Shakira Renee are long-time friends who love all things yarn-related! They’ll help you get started on several fun projects in a welcoming and open environment. They are passionate about art as well as helping others and want to share their passion with any and everyone. The Spirit of Huntington Arts Center has been a safe space for both of them to create and feel appreciated and they want to do the same for you!
